As an artist and author, Jeanne Paglio, a.k.a. J.M. Griffin, enjoys creativity. Primarily a self-taught artist, Jeanne found her artistic, creative outlet has expanded greatly. After her children were grown and living on their own, Jeanne decided to attend college and learn more about formal art. She studied art at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) and architecture at New England Institute of Technology. She has been published in magazines such as The Decorative Painter, Painting Magazine, and Quick & Easy Painting.

In the early 2000’s, Jeanne began writing, not only art books, but also cozy mysteries which are published by Lachesis Publishing. Her love of mysteries also falls into the art category, where the mystery of creativity looms daily. What better to way to be creative than to solve the mystery of how this or that medium would work together?
